As a result of increased business within their Professional Services function, we need to recruit additional team-orientated and target driven SharePoint Consultant to provide the necessary support for their IT services portfolio.

As Senior Applications Consultant, you will establish client relationships from a technical perspective and lead the pre-sales and estimating function as well as presentations and workshops. Working sometimes client-side, you will design and deliver project solutions to meet client needs whilst maintaining their commercial integrity.

 

Your key areas of responsibility will include:

 

– Acting as Technical Lead on projects providing solution design and technical oversight in line with specific requirements
– Offering knowledge sharing and informal training – both internally and with customers as required
– Supporting the management of projects and escalating to a higher level as required
– Managing and supporting Applications Consultants on daily activities and acting as first point of contact.

Working on a range of customer projects at any one time – from pre-sales through to delivery, you will work with the Project Management Office to ensure that projects where you are Technical Lead are delivered in line with budget and customer expectations. To further enhance your position, you will be expected to attend Learning and Development opportunities throughout the year to support the technical and soft skills needed for this role. Contributing to, and meeting, Key Performance Indicators at individual, team and group level is essential.

This position calls for advanced skills in JavaScript development, HTML and CSS. If you also have well-honed skills in SharePoint, Office 365 configuration and development or maybe Angular.js 1.x and/or 2.x and possibly Node.js, ASP.net, .Net Core or TypeScript, so much the better! Other skills that could prove useful include API, JIRA, BitBucket and Agile (SCRUM). Do you also have training or qualifications in relevant web technologies or Microsoft Certification? If so, these could prove useful too!

Effective communication skills are vital along with strong, all-round technical abilities. Both target and client-driven with a keen eye for detail and always striving for the best outcomes you will be able to demonstrate that all-important competitive and commercial edge. Travel to client offices may be necessary on occasions so it`s important that you can be flexible in your approach and demonstrate great presentation skills.
