Ivy Blu are looking for a confident, well established C# / .Net Developer to be a part of the development team within and award – winning company in the West Midlands. As an experienced Senior Software Engineer, you will play a significant role in the creation of a large-scale PAAS solution. This opportunity would suit a candidate with professional experience in developing scalable distributed systems, and most importantly, someone who is passionate about cutting edge technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality scalable softwares
- Develop and design architecture of projects and participate through the process
- Understanding the challenges that come with building a distributed application at scale
- Create modern, efficient integrations between existing systems and cloud provider services
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
- Collaborate with internal teams and mentor developers to fix and improve products
- Be updated with the current developments and ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
Must have
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer using C# / ASP.Net
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Worked with Scrum/Agile methodologies with exposure to build automation and continuous deployment.
- Experience of building distributed services using microservices architecture
- Public cloud experience and able to identity and build solutions using most appropriate cloud-based services and design patterns
- Proven ability to produce highly maintainable and high quality code using TDD and SOLID principles
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and documentation standards
Nice to have
- .Net Core 3.1 and any standard issue packages such EF Core, xUnit and Moq
- Any AWS exposure, particularly to Lambda, DynamoDB and CloudFormation
- Experience of integrating with standards-based identity provider solutions
- Understanding of ElasticSearch and ELK stack
