Senior Service Infrastructure Engineer – West Midlands – 45K

Ivy Blu are searching for a Senior Service Infrastructure Engineer to join a fantastic company based in the West Midlands.

 

Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure you will be responsible for a number of different tasks, such as minimising all service interruptions and avoiding future incidents that may affect the progression in the future.

 

You will often document, monitor and enhance the current infrastructure model while also providing a technical oversight on both in-house systems and also cloud based infrastructure to ensure an efficient performance

 

 

Skills and Experience Required

• Have over 3 years’ experience working in a Service Infrastructure position
• Proficient knowledge in both Linux (CentOS) and Apache/WebDAV
• A successful Senior Service Infrastructure Engineer will have experience with databases including MySQL and MSSQL
• Good knowledge of Encryption, troubleshooting and SQL Queries
• Sufficient working knowledge on Networking, VPNs, Firewalls and SFTP
• Excellent working knowledge of MPLS, VMware and Alert Logic is desirable not essential

• Self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
