QA Tester – Retail Industry – London – 55k

 

Ivy Blu are recruiting for a QA Tester to join an international retailer to be take control and maintain automation testing procedures within the digital development sector of the business

 

This role is primarily focussed on the execution of automation testing during all phases of our clients development lifecycle.

 

You will also work with project and IT development teams to ensure functional requirements are understood and met from a testing perspective.

What you will be doing:

 

  • Generate, manage and maintain automation testing plans and procedure
  • You will be responsible for test planning, test script preparation, test execution & documentation
  • Working on Change Control, documentation and governing testing processes throughout the business
  • will have full ownership of QA environments across all products within the business
  • You will report on testing performance and assist IT Management with release decisions.
  • You will liaise extensively with users, leading workshops, analysing existing systems with a view to specifying changes to third party solutions, and/or business processes

 

 

Your experience:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in an automation testing role
  • Solid experience in an Agile Environment is essential
  • Experience with Automation Testing tools such as Selenium and Cucmber
  • Experience with Linux, React.js, Node.js and PHP would be highly beneficial
  • You will have Test Script and Test Plan preparation experience – hands-on Test execution key
  • Experience with Test Driven Development, and Behaviour Driven Development
  • You have high levels of accuracy and literacy in verbal and written communications
  • You have detailed, accurate and up-to-date documentation and knowledge
  • You have a proven track record of testing enterprise-scale applications
