We are looking for a PHP Developer, with skills in programming using LEMP stack and data handling, to join a firmly established retailer in Norwich. Our client is the largest retailer within their industry, and have 30+ years experience. This opportunity would be ideal for an individual with an interest in programming, and ideally a strong knowledge of PHP.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or a Mid / Senior PHP developer. There is excellent growth and training with this role and you can make a difference with your PHP knowledge.

Responsibilities of a PHP Developer

The role will require the candidate to work within a close-nit team, and also independently working with LEMP stacks, and various other software.  It will involve the developing of the website using PHP and other software.

 

Skills of a PHP Developer

  • 3+ years of development experience
  • All around technologist, with an ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • The ability to work both independently as well as in a small nit team
  • Vast familiarity with PHP

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or relevant experience
  • Strengths in programming, using LEMP Stack (Linux, Nginx, MySql, and PHP)
  • Well versed with cloud services (AWS)
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Experience with the following, would be advantageous: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Linux, SQL, network protocols; TCP/IP and ElasticSearch.
