Their growing team now has the opportunity for an experienced .Net/C# Software Engineer to join them

 

Role responsibilities

 

• You will a key member of an existing .NET\C# development assisting in the design, development and maintenance of web, desktop and mobile applications that enhance our overall business and systems.
• You will collaborate with others across the business to understand business operations and achieve new efficiencies and improvements using your software engineering skills.
• You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of exciting cutting-edge projects, from B2B and client-facing websites to in-depth business reporting, from complex system integrations to mobile applications.
• All systems are developed using the latest Microsoft development tools and platforms and they place great emphasis on trying new ideas.

 

Essential Requirements

 

• Extensive C# experience
• Fully Proficient in Visual Studio including 2015 and NuGet
• ASP.NET Web Development with MVC and/or Web API
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• IIS7+ Site Management
• Proficient in SQL Server : Database Management (e.g. SSMS/Replication/Backups/SQL Jobs etc.)
• Conversant in SQL/T-SQL
• Entity Framework (Code First)
• WPF
• GitHub Source Control
• Continuous integration and deployment tools (TeamCity/Octopus)
• Azure Administration/ Web Sites/Web Apps/Service Bus

 

Desirable Skills and Knowledge

 

• Xamarin – mobile application development
• MSMQ
• Familiarity w/ Proclaim
• Umbraco
