E-COMMERCE PROJECT MANAGER

 

Are you looking for a Project Management role? Have you got experience in E-commerce re-platform projects? Would you like to work for a prestigious top-end brand?

 

We are looking for someone who can cover all aspects of a project from the beginning stages through to completion and coordinate and ensure completion of the project milestones on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. The project will involve working closely with all departments across the business.

 

It’s a 12 months fixed term contract role and there is a chance that it will extend or become permanent.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

  • Planning and execution (define scope, schedule, benefits, resource, quality, budget, milestones and timelines)
  • Accountable for the delivery, management and overall ownership of the lifecycle of the whole project(s)
  • Manage risks and issues effectively.
  • Follow the formalised Project Management methodology in use within the business
  • Working with the Business Analysts, Development Analysts and the rest of the IT team to ensure the work packages are properly defined, scoped, costed and scheduled and that resources are utilised efficiently
  • Implement and maintain effective stakeholder management, influencing and guiding key stakeholders whilst ensuring that senior management is engaged to enable successful project delivery
  • Own all MI reporting, change control, tools, document management, project finance and customer relationships for the projects that you are managing, successfully raising and addressing risks and issues in a timely manner
  • Accountable for ensuring all company system documentation standards are being adhered to by both the internal teams and external partners for projects that they are managing
  • Accountable for ensuring the effective service transition of projects after go-live to the Competency Centre Analysts
  • Responsible for ensuring consistent and common processes are in place, and helping to establish a culture of continuous improvement within the business

 

Required Experience/Skills: 

 

  • Expertise in end-to-end project ownership and executing projects through its lifecycle
  • Communicate/coordinate inter departmental teams and senior managers
  • Experience of working in an Agile development environment
  • Formal Project Management qualifications (PRINCE2 Practitioner preferred)
  • Experience in payment gateways (advantageous)
  • Experience in improving business processes and the end-to-end coordination of all tasks and documentation efforts amongst the different IT teams to ensure successful completion of all the project milestones. The project will involve working closely with all departments across the business

  • Strong business sense with business and functional knowledge
  • Have a clear methodical approach
  • Excellent planning and organising skills, while being flexible in approach in order to adapt to changing business priorities
