Digital Marketing & PPC Manager

Our client currently is looking for a Digital Marketing and PPC Manager who will be responsible for devising and implementing their digital marketing and PPC strategies to enhance the digital presence of our client’s brand and to maximise specific PPC campaigns in accordance with these strategies. To have responsibility for the day to day running and management of these campaigns, carrying out technical changes, analysing and drawing insight from data and implementing innovative techniques to maximise campaign performance. Specifically responsible for ensuring all campaigns remain within targeted performance ranges.



Additionally, having day to day management responsibility for a London based Marketing Assistant and a home based Graphic Designer.



Specific tasks and responsibilities

  • Daily monitoring of keyword searches, bid optimisation and advert delivery
  • Development of continuing improving advert copy
  • Liaising with department heads and front line management team to develop keyword and advertising strategies that deliver them results
  • To achieve increases across all campaigns in traffic and conversions to ensure all KPIs are met
  • To use a variety of digital tools to compile and draw insight from sector-specific generic industry data to better understand customer behaviour
  • Develop internal reporting to quantify ROI stats.
  • Full utilise all analytical tools to understand their web visitors behaviour
  • To maximise the use of property portals such as Rightmove and Zoopla
  • Create interesting and proactive digital campaigns that return results within agree ROI targets
  • Ensure that their online web content contributes and supports their digital marketing strategy
  • Oversee the social media channels for both internal and external communication
  • Ensure their online recruitment campaigns are effective and appropriate
  • To produce monthly reports containing a robust description of monthly activity, suitable advice and recommendations of performance against agreed KPIS and metrics
  • Ad hoc tasks and activities as directed by the CEO or MD


Team Management

  • To put in place communication channels to ensure remote management of staff is effective
  • To ensure knowledge and understanding of current marketing best practice is communicated to the team
  • To monitor the work flow of Marketing Assistant and Graphic Designer ensuring all objectives and targets are met
  • Management and reporting of staff absence including annual leave, sickness absence ensuring the team is resourced appropriately

Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of two years Google AdWords experience
  • An advanced capability on analytic tools
  • Experience of alternative AdWords platforms
  • Display a passion for and understand of AdWords best practice


Performance measures

  • Increase in appropriate traffic
  • Increase in conversion rate of ppc campaigns
  • Reduction in bounce rate
