DevOps Engineer – Luxury Retailer – London – 60K

Ivy Blu are recruiting for a DevOps Engineer to join an Industry leading, international business situated in London. We need a results driven individual who is eager to learn and put their current technology stack into full working practice.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Introduce the best DevOps techniques such as Coding Standards, Code Reviews, Automation, and Monitoring
  • Work with the Development team to implement the best Software Delivery Life Cycle that supports the business
  • Drive the improvement of the software delivery within various online teams to ensure the best practice are adhered to
  • Provide a solid environment for significant continuous innovation and improvement
  • Work closely with the Project Management teams on currently and upcoming developments within the business
  • Ensure the security of the system is maintained through making any patches or bug fixes where necessary

 

 

Key Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge with AWS, someone who has worked with AWS on a regular basis
  • Solid experience in QA including CI, CD, DVCS and Release Management procedures
  • Extensive knowledge with Automation
  • Cloud experience such as ECS or EKS
  • Understanding of technologies such as LAMP, Magento and JavaScript would be extremely beneficial
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders at all levels of seniority
