Our client is an industry leader for clothing apparel, they stand in the forefront of the fashion industry for clothing. As a part of their successes and growth, our client is now looking to hire an IT Delivery Manager to join their IT team.

Roles Description

 

·This role is accountable for the delivery of all software development projects

·Testing of applications

·Supplier management of development projects

·Lead the team of Business Analysts/Business Partners to define requirements and to manage IT projects

·Manage the Test Lead for all testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing

·Manage the PMO and Portfolio Officer to maintain the IT Portfolio and IT reporting across all areas of the department (Architecture, Delivery, Service and Infrastructure) including financial performance

·Manage and deliver all software projects (within core IT) on time and to budget using the appropriate project management methodology

·Manage the relationships with third party suppliers (including the major application provider (UCS) both commercially and technically

·Manage 3rd line application support (application maintenance)

·Manage the development and testing function of the IT department including the route to live

·Manage all application software releases into production with Service Management

·Ensure all software releases are at the appropriate level of quality

·Work with the Technical Architecture Manager to define the application roadmap

·Recruit, develop, coach and mentor colleagues in the team – including appraising their performance

 

Requirements for IT Delivery Manager

 

·Excellent project delivery skills

·Good Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills

·Good written skills

·Good knowledge and experience of project management techniques

·Good knowledge and experience of supplier management

·Good knowledge and experience of delivery of IT Portfolio management and IT project life cycle

·Budgeting and financial control experience

·Contract management experience

Experience of working in a retail environment and of retail business processes
