We are looking for 2 Data Analysts to join Data Migrations Team with a fast – growing award – winning Software Company. The potential Data Analyst should have a strong interest in data, data science concepts and statistical analysis. The primary purpose of the Data Migrations team is to design, build, configure and implement conversions into the current software using the existing toolsets in accordance with their understanding of a client’s source data.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for Data migration / conversion programmes
  • Focus on delivery implementations of the software customised and configured to clients’ requirements
  • Focus on completing targets based around scheduled delivery of work packages
  • Understand, analyse client’s data and import the data to the software
  • Design, Build, Configure and Implement conversions into software using existing toolsets
  • Working in a fast-paced environment
  • Meeting the specific deadlines and time – management
  • Working under pressure and thrive to meet the quality standards

 

Required Skills / Experience

 

  • Fluent ability in MySQL, T-SQL dialects.
  • MySQL and SQL Server RDBMS
  • Strong understanding of core data science concepts (e.g. data vs. information, data exploration, statistical analysis, data typing).
  • Preferred experience in Unix, CMD shell and Github
  • Good working experience in Agile / waterfall project management environments adds an advantage
  • Strong Analytical and problem – solving skills along with creative thinking
  • Good general IT skills such as MS Excel, Remote access tools
  • Proven ability in Data Analysis, data handling and data – based decision making
  • Ability to handle changes in requirements and scheduling in accordance with business needs
  • Excellent attention to details and passion for meeting quality standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and to specific deadlines
  • Preferred Experience with Estate Agents as end users
  • Eager and quick to acquire new knowledge and skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
