Our client is a leading digital marketing agency which is located in the heart of Manchester. They are going through an exciting continued period of growth, and as such are looking for dynamic and high energy Content Marketing Manager to join the team.


Job Description:


As a Content Marketing Manager manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of our clients inbound campaigns and deliverables (KPI’s, website and blog analytics, reporting) to address the client’s business objectives.

Whilst this is a hands-on role, there is also an emphasis on project management, client liaison and team management.



  • Ensure customer success and be the primary point of contact for your portfolio of clients and for defining campaign deliverables
  • Develop, manage and coordinate inbound marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Define content marketing strategies to meet there project goals
  • Provide inbound best practices, with strategic intent of delivering high quality inbound assets
  • Identify client’s business objectives, challenges, and key success metrics
  • Provide recommendations based on marketing analytics and inbound assessment to address key business and marketing challenges
  • Develop inbound performance reports to analyze and monitor inbound strategy effectiveness
  • Work company wide to promote and champion inbound marketing strategies
  • Project coordinate to ensure scope and budget are met
  • Responsible for creating project schedules, coordinating deliverables, and facilitating resources for your portfolio of B2B technology companies
  • Help build and manage partner and customer relationships
  • Develop lasting relationships with retainer customers to ensure ongoing service
  • Serve as a brand enthusiast for their suite of products and services
  • Own and manage campaign content calendars that are designed to attract a targeted audience (blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, podcasts, video etc…)
  • Continually look for new ways to generate leads and manage targeted list development.
  • Create, run and optimise marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels
  • Project Manage and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver project scope on time and in budget. including your account executives – (SEO Executives, Social Media Managers, PPC Executives, Content Writers, Development & Design Teams and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience defining and executing Inbound Marketing Strategies
  • Expertise in web analytics and tracking implementation
  • In-depth working knowledge of Google Analytics, content marketing best practices CRM
  • Team Lead / Client Management Experience

  • Enjoy leading, mentoring and inspiring your team
  • Live and breathe content and understand that its the linch pin of any campign as it drive everyother aspect of your campaign
  • Experience working for B2B clients
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and blogging software in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers
  • Entrepreneurial and a self-starter, be just as comfortable at setting strategy as well as executing the details
