The Team

Client and Market Development includes the Marketing team, the Business Development team, and the communications team. They all work together to deliver projects, campaigns, and events on behalf of the firm.

 

Responsibilities

You will be working to strategically plan, deliver, and lead sharp and value-added business development support ensuring key objectives within the business plans are achieved. You must provide dedicated support to the firm which will include:

  • Adopting a consultative approach and a customer focused mind-set
  • Plan, lead, and deliver insightful and value-added business development to support the other groups, and the units within them
  • Act as a point of contact for different groups, ensuring they can access the wider Client and Market Development support they require to deliver their business plans in an efficient way
  • Identify future business models and value propositions
  • To be aware of and comply with the companies policies and procedures

 

Key Skills and Experience

  • Understanding of Business Development activity including targeting, managing pipelines, credentials, and pitches, and implementing business development plans
  • Experience of delivering business development activity
  • Client focused
  • Customer service orientated
  • Task/results orientated
  • Team player
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise workloads effectively
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent both written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working within a professional services environment would be advantageous, but not essential

 

Qualifications

  • Degree level of education, OR a recognised qualification in marketing, such as CIM.
