Our client who is a well-established and highly recognised enterprise are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis.
If you are looking for a new challenge, the opportunity exists to join a thriving business analysis function to support a portfolio of activities. Business Analyst will be responsible to help deliver business requirements through the production of user stories for our development teams.
Roles & Responsibilities-
- Understand business requirements and the customer/user base to support and improve business systems
- Own user stories through the whole product life cycle
- Document requirements as user stories with user acceptance criteria within Azure DevOps
- Perform use-case analysis to model the interactions between systems and users
- Identify business risks and provide solutions to alleviate them
- Working closely with software delivery team and will liaise with business leaders to ensure requirements are gathered and help report back the progress of these appropriately.
- Liaise with a range of stakeholder groups
- Build and maintain successful business relationships by identifying, managing and resolving conflicts, if any.
- Able to lead a large project which may require contribution from multiple business analysts
- Able to mentor and assign tasks to other team members
- Management of more than one project at once, as well as complex projects
- To ensure business needs and core requirements are fully understood for each project
Requirements –
- 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience in performing requirements elicitation
- Experience of SCRUM / AGILE methodologies and writing user stories
- Excellent written communication skills with experience in writing comprehensive, clear, well-structured documentation
- Ability to improve the business processes and customer journey
- Excellent verbal communication skills to a range of stakeholders
- Ability to confidently meet stakeholders, build rapport and manage expectations
- Ability to define a problem and assist in solution identification
- Great attention to detail
- Effectively manage and prioritise workload
- Ecommerce experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps is desirable
