2nd Line IT Support Engineer – Aberdeen – 25 – 30K

Our client is a leading MSP, who is looking to add another talented member to their growing support staff.

What we’re looking for:
In this role you will be responsible for the design, implementation and deployment of our client’s cloud initiatives and therefore;
The successful candidate will:
• Demonstrate a strong desire to work within a fast moving team
• First class customer service skills, dealing with clients face to face and on the phone
• Demonstrate ability to become an expert in the products and services we offer
• Be highly motivated, pro-active, flexible and adaptable
• Show a willingness to learn and develop skills
• Have strong communications skills (written and verbal)
Our ideal candidate will have experience in most of the following skills:
• Cloud e-mail systems
• Office365 Administration skills
• Microsoft server operating systems
• Desktop operating systems
• Supporting Business Users Tablets and other Devices
• Supporting Wireless devices
• Cloud Computing Management and Administration – Azure, VMware
• Virtualisation and Hypervisor Management and Administration – HyperV and/or VMware
• Windows Server 2003-2016 Technologies Management and Administration
• Networking in virtualised and hybrid-cloud environments – Cisco, Meraki, Juniper
• Desktop Technologies (Windows 7 / 8 / 10)
• Exchange
• Active Directory
• Apple Macs (desirable)
• Citrix (desirable)
• Microsoft / VMWare / Cisco Accreditation (desirable)
